The Monte Vista Mustangs closed out their successful 2015 season with a loss to James Logan on Tuesday night in the NCS Semifinals. The biggest threat came in the top of the 7th after MV loaded the bases with 1 out, but was unable to push a run across the plate, losing 5-0. Jordan Maddox and Tressa Schroth were both 2 for 3 and Erin Yoshino had a base hit, giving Monte Vista 5 hits on the day.
Seniors Mackenzie Murphy, Lindsay Rood and Alicia Yoshino played their final game for Monte Vista. All three players were 4 year varsity players and were named to the EBAL “All League” teams this past season.
