Mustangs Fall to Logan 5-0 in NCS Semis

The Monte Vista Mustangs closed out their successful 2015 season with a loss to James Logan on Tuesday night in the NCS Semifinals. The biggest threat came in the top of the 7th after MV loaded the bases with 1 out, but was unable to push a run across the plate, losing 5-0. In the second round of the NCS playoffs, #7 seed Monte Vista beat #2 seed Heritage 10-0 in 5 innings on Friday. Monte Vista Wins NCS Round 1, Beats Liberty 2-1

Jordan Maddox belted a 1-run homerun over the center field fence in the bottom of the sixth and Monte Vista held on to beat Liberty 2-1 in the first round of the NCS playoffs. MV Beats San Ramon Valley in Shootout, 13-8

Scoreboard operators were busy at SRV on Thursday as Monte Vista and San Ramon Valley combined for 21 runs. The Mustangs eventually won the offensive battle 13-8 in seven innings.
